How does Arjun Singh sleep at night?
Knowing that he's ruining my life,
And lives of millions along with mine,
Knowing he caused all this strife,
I think that he should now resign
With this government ruling,
Indian talent will rot
The undeserving will prosper
The unreserved shall not
The meek shall inherit the earth
so goes the prophesy
But even the meekest wouldnt have thought
"The earth will be gifted to me
because i have a certificate
which proclaims i'm weak"
While the rest of just wait
For Manmohan to speak
But he's too busy hiding
Behind Sonia's saree
and he just turns a blind eye
To all the maraa-maree
You send your people to meet
But false promises will not do
because now we've seen enough
And dont have any trust in you,
Oscar came to meet us,
as did Pranab Mukherjee
Sushma and Malhotra came too,
But soon had to flee
We are fighting this fight
not because we must
but because we believe in whats right
and whats rational and just
And so "Dr" Arjun Singh,
we will continue our fight,
but do tell me,
How do you sleep at night?

its great bro! iused to think very highly of manmohan sigh but the way he has dealt this matter disappointed me and lot of us. i think he must be asking for 10 janpath permission even before going to toilet. and arjun singh , that man lost his influence in congress a long before and now he is losing whatever respect he had among people, he is going to be cursed by every intelligent indian no matter what cast, for ages to come. POlitical ambitions of people like arjun and VP singh has done a damage to this country to such an extent that it is almost at the edge of another partition.
we need some people like pitroda and hope they will be able to do something fr the cause .hats off to all the fighters for equality!

as far as the issue of these reservations n quotas is concerned, you know very well how i feel...
and Arjun Singh is starting to be popularly known as our "I don't know, can't say, won't say" minister.
too bad its the electorate of India who is electing such representatives!!
But there are no options, no party is coming out in the open to oppose the move, all have vested interests in garnering communal vote banks
Psychoman, awesome job. I loved your Ode. Though I would say Ode to Inadequacy instead of Ode to Mediocrity. (The sheer energy and with which the "lay" India works day in and day out keep the country going when the government is so lame.) Indeed "Dr" Singh is an imbecile and I was apalled at his interviewing with Karan Thaapar. He unabashedly discounted IIT's and DU's data that show reservations don't work. Well, I have never been able to respect any Indian politician whatsoever, so I have no complains for Manmohan Singh: he does not let me down, he is having a watchful expectancy.
Meanwhile, I just hear from my roomie that two people immolated themselves!! I am saddened. Lord save us all!

they want the votes - who gives a dick about u or me man.. so why do u give a damn about the nation?? ask not what the nation can do for u - ask what it has done..
